Last year RainbowYOUTH’s Tauranga drop-in centre was burned down in an arson attack, leaving their vibrant community in ashes. Now, after a long search they’ve found a new home - but they’re starting from scratch.
We here at Parallel believe that everyone should see themselves in the books they read. Representation in media matters - that's why we’re collecting books to fill their new space with stories that celebrate who we are.
Every book you donate will help create a space where young LGBTQIA+ folks can feel comfortable and safe to explore, discover, and dream.
